Strike Out Parkinsons

Strike Out Parkinsons took place on April, 11th 2015. and included a Lunch, Cash Bar, Auction, Ballgame Tickets - Texas Rangers vs. Houston Astros. Our special guest speaker was  Jim “The Rookie” Morris  ‘Never Give Up on a Dream' - Jim's meteoric rise from 35 year old high school teacher to flame throwing major league pitcher made cinematic history with the release of "The Rookie" starring Dennis Quaid. Sports Illustrated voted it one of the five greatest baseball films ever made.  Jim is living with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease. Hosted by YOPD Dallas,

Meet the Champions

WesterN Swing dance organized by Pam Wood and hosted by the Samuell Grand Slammers took place on Saturday, November 23rd, 2013 at Son's of Hermann Hall in Dallas, Texas. The historic Texas dance hall filled with the foot-stomping melodies of local Western Swing band Shoot Low Sheriff, over 150 guests shined their cowboy boots for a Wild Western evening of square dancing in support of Team Fox. The event was a huge success, raising $46,720 in support of Team Fox! In addition to ticket sales, the event also brought in revenue through a 60-item silent auction and a live auction featuring an 18-person private suite at an upcoming Dallas Mavericks game. This event was sponsored by Mitchell Garman Architects and Wackym's Kitchen.

Fox Foto Friday: Western Swing Dance Raises over $46,000 for Team Fox

Pancakes for Parkinson's benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's Disease. This event was put on in 2013 by Addison Schmitz and the rest of the Gardener Hall group. It raised approximately $1500, but also made many at Abilene Christian University aware of Young Onset Parkinson's Disease.

Meet the Champions was a TFNT event to help raise money for the Punching out Parkinson's Boxing group. It raised over $28,000 and is still the model for this groups fundraiser. Major sponsorship was from Calloway's Nursery in Fort Worth, Texas. It featured Ben Petrick, a one time Major League Baseball player stricken with Parkinson's Disease at the age of 23.

Saving Milly

In 2012 Networkers Funding along with Bank Mutual sponsored the food for our Brewing for a Cure event at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Through numerous individual and corporate donations, we raised money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation and were able to raise awareness for Parkinson’s while having a great time at Miller Park.

Inspired by her long-time friend, Gary Schmitz, who was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's, Networkers President, Joyce Dieck  helped organize this  fundraising event  for Parkinson's research.

sAVING MILLY screening was held in April of 2012 as a Parkinson's awareness event. Sponsored by Bank of the West. This event raised approximately $1000 for the Micheal J. Fox Foundation.

Laugh Off

FallFest

Laugh Off October 2010 benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's Disease. Networkers Funding was a Silver Sponsor in our first Wisconsin fundraising effort which headlined ComedySportz and a raffle that included tickets and travel voucher to a Green Bay Packers/Dallas Cowboys Game at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI.  This event took place at Chrissy's Now and Then Pub in Belgium, Wisconsin,  and raised close to $7000.00 for Parkinson’s research.

FallFest was held in the Fall of 2010 at the Back Porch Grill & Tavern in Grapevine, Texas. The event featured live music by Hill City Band, a Free appetizer buffet, door prizes and a raffle that included tickets and travel voucher to a Green Bay Packers/Dallas Cowboys Game at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI. Approximately $9000 was raised for the Michael J. Fox Foundation, sponsored by Bank of the West, Grapevine, TX

WalkFest

WalkFest09 benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's Disease. The walk explored beautiful downtown Grapevine, Texas on a crisp October Saturday morning, and included raffle prizes, merchant discounts and breakfast donated by IHOP!
